Singapore Night Festival ends today, so I decided to take the family out yesterday to check out the festivities and activities.
Instead of just keeping it to the family, we decided to invite some of our family friends to come along. We’re glad to spend time with two families – (1) Dao Han and Cheryl, and (2) Abraham and Cheng Yu.
We started with having dinner together at Funan, before walking over to Children’s Museum, and ended the night with a moving performance “The Tree of Dreams“. It was my first moving performance. I really liked that it was inclusive, and the audience was part of the performance.
I saw a list of all the hawker centres in Singapore and it sparked a little thought – maybe it would be kind of interesting to visit all the hawker centres on this tiny island. And in case you’re wondering, there are 125 hawker centres in Singapore!
We believe that families can and should form meaningful friendships with other families. As we come together, we can find support and draw strength from one another.
We ended the night with supper at McDonalds!
